Welcome To Our Website

We are a line dance club based in Carolles, Manche (50), France, numbering around 150 members. 

Carolles Country Line Dancing was set up in August 2005, and has started its third year of courses.  This year we are offering three levels of instruction in Line Dancing, and a busy programme of social activities around line dance events.  Most of our members are French, but some Brits. have already signed up, and you would be very welcome to come and join us!

Although John (our teacher) is Scottish, he teaches in French, so it's an excellent way to learn French and get to know the locals in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. 

Line Dancing has been popular for years in the UK, but in France it's a relatively recent phenomena.  Five years ago there were very few line dancers in this region, but today more and more French people are discovering the fun and challenge of line dancing, and this trend is set to continue in the years to come.
